The Culture House  in Washington DC, a former church now art centre, that was not demolished in the 1960s urban renewal of the blighted SW quadrant, was painted in 2012 by @hensethename. It went viral with 1086 Instagram likes through @culturehousedc and 1136 likes through @hensethename

Originally one of my photos taken in Skyline Drive, VA, transferred to canvas with T Shirt transfer paper, and then stitched to give added detail and tactile quality.

This watercolour  "Northern Lights" was accepted into the Capitol Hill Art League 10th Annual juried show "Galaxy". It was one of 30 selected artworks from over 200 submissions.
